Executive director

Stump’s executive director, Adriano Barcelos, is a journalist and holds a bachelor’s degree in Social Communication from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS) and has an MBA in Institutional and Governmental Relations from Getulio Vargas Foundation (Fundação Getulio Vargas – FGV), having worked on both sides of the desk – either as a parliamentary or communication advisor in the federal government (Ministry of Labour). Adriano Barcelos has also worked for congressmen, political parties and electoral campaigns, or in lobby activities – integrating the team that consolidated the area of Institutional Relations (lobbyng) in Federal Council of Chemistry (CFQ in the portuguese acronym – Conselho Federal de Química). In media outlets, among other major newspapers, Adriano Barcelos was an editor and reporter at Zero Hora (Porto Alegre) and political reporter at O Estado de S.Paulo and Folha de S.Paulo.
